Who Needs Construction Debris Removal
Three types of clients make up the bulk of our construction debris removal calls: DIY renovators who've just finished (or are mid-project on) a home improvement job, homeowners whose contractors have left them with a pile of waste, and contractors looking for a reliable hauling partner to service multiple job sites.
The DIY renovator is particularly common in Northeast Ohio, where older housing stock means there's always a kitchen backsplash to redo, a bathroom to update, or a basement to finish. The renovation itself is satisfying — the 14 bags of tile shards and drywall chunks sitting in the living room afterward, less so. We show up, load it up, and you're clear.
Contractors working on jobs throughout Cleveland Heights, Euclid, Mentor, and other Greater Cleveland communities use us as an on-call hauling service. We accommodate tight job site schedules and can coordinate pickups around your work timeline.
What We Remove from Renovation Projects
Our construction debris removal service handles virtually all standard renovation waste:
Important: Asbestos in Older Cleveland-Area Homes
This is a critical point for anyone renovating a home built before 1980 in the Cleveland metro area. Asbestos was commonly used in building materials throughout the mid-20th century, and a significant portion of the housing stock in Lake County and Cuyahoga County predates the widespread phaseout of asbestos-containing materials.
Common locations for asbestos in older Northeast Ohio homes include: floor tiles (especially 9-inch vinyl tiles common in 1950s–70s homes), pipe insulation in basements, ceiling tiles, textured ceiling coatings ("popcorn ceilings"), exterior siding, and some roof shingles.
We cannot haul materials that are known or suspected to contain asbestos. Before beginning any renovation that disturbs these materials, we strongly recommend having a certified asbestos inspector test samples. If asbestos is found, it must be removed by a licensed abatement contractor following Ohio EPA protocols before any other debris removal can happen. Once the space has been cleared and certified clean, we can then haul the remaining renovation waste.
If you're not sure whether your home may contain asbestos, Ohio EPA maintains a list of licensed asbestos inspectors and contractors. Don't skip this step on pre-1980 homes — the health risk is real, and the legal liability for improper removal is significant.
Why Use Us Instead of Renting a Roll-Off Dumpster
Roll-off dumpster rental seems straightforward until you add up all the components: delivery fee, daily or weekly rental rate, pickup fee, and disposal/tonnage charge. Those costs stack up quickly, and you still have to do all the loading yourself. Our service is all-in — we do the labor, haul everything away in one trip, and you're not left with a large metal container sitting in your driveway for days.
For active job sites where debris accumulates over time, we can set up recurring hauling runs that work around your construction schedule. This is particularly useful for larger remodels in Mayfield Heights, Willoughby, and other communities where project timelines stretch over weeks.
How We Quote Construction Debris Jobs
Pricing depends on the type and volume of material — standard debris like drywall and lumber is different from heavy materials like concrete and brick, which have weight-based disposal costs. We assess on-site and give you a firm, all-in quote before we start. Call (440) 655-0884 or text photos to (440) 655-0884 for a fast estimate.
